Baking For The Holidays!

Local

Whether it's making all those yummy treats for all your friends and neighbors or baking with your family for your family Christmas party. It's an event we all look forward to each year and our kids will remember for years to come.  From making the famous cutout sugar cookies that the kids love to decorate to the peppermint bark. We all have family Christmas treat traditions that we make. They are ones we pass down through our families through the years so the family traditions never die. I remember every year making all the delicious treats that or family has made throughout the years and one that my great grandma used to make that I have made since she passed away. It was one of my favorite's.  It's also a time that we receive Christmas treats from our friends and neighbors and this year has been some memorable ones. We received anything from a pineapple to pickled peppers " Yes I said pickled peppers!" However, as we spend this holiday season baking and caroling and enjoying our friends and family, we will remember the spirit of giving! It is always great to donate to the local shelters for others to also have a Merry Christmas!
